Question: My father is having itching and rashes for the past 10 days. Please suggest medication for the same. In few places rings are also there

Hello ,

He seems to have fungal infection. I suggest him to use a topical antifungal e.g ketoconazole 2% cream, twice daily. It is a prescription cream. In addition to that he may also take an oral antihistamine e.g Cetrizine 10mg for symptomatic relief from itching.

Hi.
yes the tablet is fine. Also use the cream which i suggested. An antifungal dusting powder e.g clotrimazole dusting powder is also going to benefit him by keeping the folds dry and being antifungal on nature.
