Please Suggest What To Do For UTI
Question: Hi - hospitals on Wednesday, diagnosed with infected kidney stone. Wanted to admit - I declined. Passed stone Thursday morning. Temp Thurs up when 800mg advil wears off (102.4). Started antibiotics on Wednesday. Today, Friday, flank still very tender, temp hovers around 100, body feels sore (and it hurts to take deep breaths (maybe from laying around??) - and generally feeling very icky still. Still feeling of needing to pee (UTI is the infection). Should I go back to ER? Wait on primary care doc? Give the antibiotics 2-3 more days? I’ll also mention I had COVID two weeks ago - so I feel like my white blood cells must hate me by now. Please & thank you for any answers!
