Question: Possibly smokes laced/synthetic Marijuana/with pesticides.

Age: 24, S: M, H: 5'10, W: 145-150

Location:Abdomen

I decided to smoke some marijuana that might have been laced or had pesticides on it (didnt know this was the case at the time). Originally I tried it Thursday (8/20) and became super paranoid/didnt enjoy it and got muscular aches. I tried it again Friday (8/21) (only smoke about 3 "one hitters" each time). As of now my sympotms are mostly that a general discomfort in my abdomen - more specifically, right above my hips on the front side is sore (kind runs from hip down a few inches on both side - my obliques area.

Since I tried it I generally havent felt very hungry almost feeling a need yesterday to force myself to eat because I knew I should, same for this morning, didnt feel hungry but knew I probably should have been

My stool has been mostly floaters/semi diarrhea since then. Its been over 24 hours and I just dont quite feel normal but I cant tell if it is psychological or if I need a trip to a hospital

Brief Answer:
Unlikely related to marijuana

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
It is unlikely related to marijuana, and possibly due to anxiety arising out of long term use of reacreational marijuana.
Marijuana even if contaminated with pesticides does not cause abdominal discomfort.
Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety.
You can go for an ultrasound abdomen just for reassurance.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Very unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Hydrogen cyanide is an extremely potent and lethal chemical. If you were exposed to it, there could be many more symptoms than just muscular ache and diarrhea. So I would rule this possibility out.

Even if it is related to some unknown chemical in the pesticide (let’s assume), body detoxification process will be able to flush it out. So you should not be worried too much about it.

As of now drink plenty of water which helps in detoxification and elimination of toxins. You should also be resting well.

Thanks

This is blatantly not true. Myclobutanol - although not a pesticide is a fungicide. When lit/heated transforms into hydrogen cyanide. Which does cause vomitting and nausea as well as diarrhea. I think it's disengenious to claim that there is nothing that causes this. Only long term use. I've had physical pain since Thursday 8/20 it's now Sunday 8/23 even though I last smoked on 8/21. I shouldn't still be feeling effects of paranoia 48 hours after smoking

Okay, I know this is my last follow up question so it's gonna be longer.

I really just want to know when I'm going to "feel normal" again. I know it might be somewhat psychological but is there anything I can to alleviate the soreness I have?

I also know the liver is responsible to filtering toxins from the body which would explain the ache on one side and not the other. What about my kidneys though, the soreness being on both sides, around the hips both front and back side of my body). What should I be watching for if I have potentially overload my kidneys? No soreness or discomfort in urinating and definitely no presence of blood

That said I have been drinking a ton of water, but do feel as if my temperature is a little high (going to measure when I get home)

Brief Answer:
Wait few more days

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It is absolutely true that liver detox the chemicals and toxins. However if the liver is damaged by toxin it will not cause pain but leads to other features of liver failure,
You can wait few more days by then your symptoms will settle.
It you are worried you can go for a complete blood work up to confirm everything is fine.
Thanks
