Post Covid Fever And Cold Should It Be Consider Anything Serious?

default
Posted on Fri, 1 Dec 2023
Question: I had Covid about 6 ago with mild pneumonia which cleared very quickly. This was confirmed by Chest X Ray and Covid testing. Then about 17-18 days ago I got a head cold no sore throat no fever no Covid but runny nose and cog. I have taken Sudafed, Mucinex, Z pack, and Tamiflu. I’m still having some runny nose even with Sudafed and have just finished the Z Pack and Tamiflu. Seems like a chest cough with some congestion and mild phlegm at this stage. Anything else you can suggest to clear this up? Thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Sometimes viral illness takes time to resolve.
If no fever, then nothing to worry about.
Just use nasal decongestant drops.
Get complete blood count test done to rule out any infection.

I Hope Your Query is clear now.
Thank You
