Hello
Thanks for posting on XXXXXXX
Well your wife's acid reflux problem seems serious and you might require to consult a doctor for treatment. Your wife might require a change of drugs such as introduction of a proton pump inhibitor such as omeprazole or lanzoprazole or others. Some few injectiins might be administered if crisis severe for immediate relief. ones that is done oral regimens maybe introduced. Just get her to the ER for immediate evaluation and treatment.
Hope this helps

Hello
Generally she should avoid taking spicy food especially one with pepper, no alcohol, no smoking, no non steroidal antiinflammatory (and she is already on aciloc so will need to stop), avoid starvation, avoid too much fatty XXXXXXX food. Pantoprazole is a PPI just like omeprazole therefore can be taken but her doctor needs to approve. She can also be placed on ranitidine inj which will also be safe and effective.
Hope this further helps
