Query for Dr. XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
I just started medical marijuana. 1 THC:20 CBD
Do you think this will help. Or is the nerve damage if caused by the cephalexin for over 1.5 years permanent?
Thank you again.

Brief Answer:
Need to have the results of any diagnostic tests you might have done...
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
This is Dr.Albana here assisting.
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.
Tingling in the fingers is not related to Cephalexin you used 1.5 years ago. If Cephalexin would cause such damage, you'd start to feel since long time.
Next, therapeutic marijuana is not the good solution for you to my opinion.
The very first step is to understand what is the cause of this tingling.
Your neurologist did not find anything related to nerve damage so far?
If so, we should look for other issues like:
- anemia
- vitamin deficiencies
- arthritis
- local orthopedic issues like carpal tunnel syndrome, etc
So, various diagnostic tests like:
- CBC
- checking blood vitamins B12, folates, D, calcium and electrolytes
- arthritis tests like CRP
- conductory studies (CS) and EMG for neuro-muscular damages
We need all these data to analyze your current status.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other concern.
