Brief Answer:
The blood picture is not specific for typhoid.Widal & Salmonella typhi Ig M

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on Ask a Doctor.
The blood reports show an elevated white blood cell count, however, the differential count is within normal range.
The white blood cell count is elevated in infection, inflammation, neoplasm.
In your case, it is probably due to infection and / or inflammation.
The hemoglobin level is low and the red blood cells are normocytic normochromic.
Normocytic normochromic anemia is commonly seen in chronic systemic diseases.
However, I suggest you to get an iron profile, although the blood picture is not very typical of iron deficiency.
The platelet count is also slightly elevated. This may be due to infection / inflammation.
The blood picture is not specific for typhoid fever.
I suggest you to get tests for typhoid - widal and Salmonella typhi Ig M after consulting your physician.

Thanks and take care
