Raised BP, Swollen Testicle, No Pain
Question: Hi
Iam a 59 year old male 16stone 6ft tall no previous medical problems other than slight raised blood pressure ,my problem is i have a swolen left testical approx 4 times its normal size if i press there is no pain other than what you would expect
could you advise

Thanks for your query.
Your swelling may be either inguinal hernia or hydrocele.
Testicular swelling has to be diagnosed between Infective and non-infective.
You yourself or your general surgeon may try to go above the swelling that is reach the base of the swelling. If you reach the base, it may be Hydrocele. If it is not possible to reach above the swelling top of the swelling it may be hernia.
To confirm, you may contact a radiologist, who will do a small part sonography for proper diagnosis.
