Recent Blood Test Shows High HB,RDW And RBC Is This Worrying?
Question: I recently did my blood test and I found out that my HEMOGLOBIN (HB) level is at 19.8 H, my RED BLOOD CELL (RBC) COUNT 6.20 ,HEMATOCRIT (PCV) 58.3,RED CELL DISTRIBUTION WIDTH (RDW) 14.9 are high.I want to know whether there is any negative affect on my body due to this,how can I lower my blood levels to normal,what are the medicines that I need to take?

No I am not on any medication and I don't smoke or drink
I did blood test once in 2017 and the Blood Count was 17 pts..In 2022,it was 18.2 and now in 2023 it is 19.8

The management of this condition is by phlebotomy and blood letting or you can go for voluntary blood donation every 3 months once.
keep cheking the Complete blood count every three months once and inform.
