Question: Recently diagnosed with uti given antibiotics took two doses feeling nauseous and fatigued is this from infection or antibiotics also I have no appetite had low grade fever of 100 yesterday today fever seems to have cleared

Your symptoms seem to be related to after effects of Nitrofurantoin. Although it's good that fever seemed to have been cleared, I'd suggest you observe for another day while keep taking Nitrofurantoin. Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help to flush out the infection.

Have some simple homemade diet during this period along with banana, rice, mash, applesauce, and toast, as in the BRAT diet. Some other bland foods that you may add include oatmeal, clear broths, and simple crackers. Have some curd/yogurt based diets/drinks additionally.

Some conventional antacid/PPIs (eg. Omeprazole once/twice daily before breakfast/dinner) for next few days along with antinausea medications i.e. Ondansetron would be helpful regaining appetite and reduce nausea during this period.

However, if despite following this there's no improvement in the symptoms, then it'll be better to switch over to a different group of antibiotics (based on the culture sensitivity analysis if done already eg. Quinolone group like Ciprofloxacin/Ofloxacin) and observe how you stay.

Thanks so much for your reply typically how long does it take to receive urine culture report gave sample yesterday also if culture is negative do I still have to continue with antibiotic

Generally, it takes about 72hours, but in some cases up to 5days for the final culture reports to generate...

Even if the culture comes negative, it's recommended to complete the course of the antibiotics which has been started already (in this case, Nitrofurantoin, to prevent any unnecessary drug resistance), typically, it can be somewhere around 5-7days in that scenario.
