Brief Answer:
Needs higher dose of Atorvastatin

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Nothing to worry about as we have enough options available to control lipid levels. Firstly, his dose of Atorvastatin should be increased. Dose may be increased up-to 40-80 mg from his current dose depending upon requirements. If still not controlled then we can add other medicines like ezetimibe as well.
So, you need to visit your treating cardiologist and request for dose escalation.
However, he should also have a healthy lifestyle like avoiding fatty, oily and high calorie diet. Regular exercises like walking atleast 30 min a day and 5 days a week. Lots of green leafy vegetables, fruits. Avoid meat. This will also helps to keep sugar under control.
Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
