FINDINGS:
LEFT VENTRICLE
The left ventricle is normal in size.
Left ventricular systolic function is normal.
Baseline left ventricular diastolic function is normal.
Mitral annular lateral E/e": 8.4. Mitral annular septal E/e": 8.4.
RIGHT VENTRICLE
The right ventricle is normal in size.
Right ventricular systolic function is normal.
LEFT ATRIUM
The left atrial cavity is normal in size.
RIGHT ATRIUM
The right atrial cavity is normal in size.
MITRAL VALVE
The mitral valve leaflets are structurally normal. There is trivial mitral valve
regurgitation. The pressure half time is 52 msec. The peak mitral E/A ratio is
1.21. The average mitral E/e" ratio is 8.4. The mitral flow deceleration time is
179 msec.
TRICUSPID VALVE
The tricuspid valve leaflets are structurally normal. There is trivial tricuspid
valve regurgitation.
AORTIC VALVE
The aortic valve cusps are structurally normal. There is no aortic valve
regurgitation. Tricuspid aortic valve.
PULMONIC VALVE
The pulmonic valve cusps are structurally normal. There is trivial pulmonic valve
regurgitation.
AORTA
The visualized aorta is normal in size.
Measurements - Mid ascending aorta 3.1 cm.
PULMONARY ARTERIES
The pulmonary arteries are normal.
INTERATRIAL SEPTUM
The interatrial septum is normal.
INTERVENTRICULAR SEPTUM
The interventricular septum is normal.
PERICARDIUM
The pericardium is normal.
CONCLUSIONS:
- Technically difficult exam due to body habitus.
- Exam indication: Amnesia following MVA
- The left ventricle is normal in size. Left ventricular systolic function is
normal. EF = 61 ± 5% (2D biplane) Baseline left ventricular diastolic function is
normal.
- The right ventricle is normal in size. Right ventricular systolic function is
normal.
- There are no significant valvular abnormalities.

ware iit states regeration on 3 vauls but states test normal (i see trival) but is this starting of a vaule problem
Thanks for your health concerns. The results of the echocardiogram are essentially within normal limits; the changes in the valve are trivial, meaning not significant at the present time. No significant evidence for valvular dysfunction or degeneration from report.
Loss of consciousness from a cardiac cause can be caused by valuvular disease (none seen here) hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (none seen here) and arrhythmias; this later group can be assessed by other tests such as Holter monitor or implantable loop recorder. Please discuss these with your cardiologist. For now, until an explanation of the syncope has been found, you should abstain from driving and operating heavy machinery.
Hope that helps, wish you the best,

As for vitamins or supplements, even fish oil has not proven by itself to confer cardiovascular benefits in prevention. My best advise to patients is to consume their Omega 3 from diet: lean fish like salmon, mackerel, trout, etc at least 3-5 serving per week, with a diet rish in nutes, fruits and vegetables. That approach has actually showed cardiovascular benefit, as documented in the recent spanish study PREDIMED.
Hope that helps, yours truly,
