Question: Requesting Dr. Gosh as a follow up. Please charge me.
You counseled me on a decrease in my neutrophil. I neglected to tell you that my eosinophils also rose. Over the years they were usually around 0 - a couple of times 80 or so, but this last time read 280.
My rbc remains 511, about where it’s always been. My platelets 280 - always 250-300. Things like alb, calcium, creatin always in a narrow range.
Anyway, is the change in eosinophil and neut. in any way alarming? Would the eosinophil have to be much higher and other measures like rbc/platelets have also had material change?
I thank you and feel lucky to have you as a resource.

Brief Answer:
Eosinophils bit high but nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Eosinophils can rise because of allergic conditions or parasite infestations but usually we investigate further if it's above 500.
So in your case, it will be considered normal only.
And of course, it has no relation to the neutrophil count.
Hope this helps.
