Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
I have gone through your query and also the attached reports. I would like to answer point-wise.
1.IgG positive CMV is not a worry. This indicates infection in the past. If IgM is positive, further assessment becomes necessary as this indicates a recent infection.
2. This will not be a problem in future.
3. No specific medication is required.
4. Urine culture should be done to see if there is any infection and also the specific antibiotic to be used. Often, especially in mid-pregnancy, there is plenty of bacteria observed in urine without any symptoms and mostly does not need any treatment. However, this being early pregnancy, care should be taken to exclude infection and use antibiotic with caution.
5. The injection is better taken in buttock. However, if given deep into the muscle, there is no harm even if given in the arm.
6. The injection is usually continued through the first trimester until the placenta takes over the hormone function from the corpus luteum.
7. MHR Bio is a vitamin supplement good enough for this stage of pregnancy.
Hope I have clarified your query. Please feel free to contact for further information. I will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
Urine culture is the best way to exclude infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
I would not suggest any home remedy to cure as I am not aware of any. However, taking adequate liquids usually washes out mild infections.
Urine culture is the best way, in most cases, to detect/exclude infection. You can ask for it, as random use of any medication is not proper at this stage of pregnancy.
It is not likely that holding urine for a couple of hours the day before would lead to bacteria in the sample, unless there are many, as she voided the held urine after the sonogram and a fresh sample was collected for the urine test.
Hope this answers your query. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello,
Thanks for writing again.
Medications are best avoided at this stage of pregnancy unless necessary.
If the itching is so bad that she needs an antibiotic every time, you should see a dermatologist for further help. For temporary relief, calamine lotion can be applied.
I would suggest home remedies for treatment of cold at this stage. Steam inhalations, application of mild decongestant over the forehead etc., can be tried. No antihistamine is safe at this stage.
Plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and adequate liquids help to maintain a healthy state of body. Avoidance of stress is good for a healthy pregnancy.
Please contact your health care provider for further information and management.
Hope you find this information useful. Please let me know if you need anything else.

also we stay in a place around 30 kms can she travel to do these tests?
Brief Answer:
Detailed below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing again.
Firstly, I am very sorry for not being able to respond early.
Cardiac activity may be difficult to catch at 5 weeks, especially with an abdominal scan. A trans-vaginal sonogram would be a better option. A repeat sonogram after 2-3 weeks, at around 8 weeks of gestation should be ideal to detect cardiac activity, preferably through the trans-vaginal route.
Ultrasound has not been shown to produce any adverse effects on the fetus in several studies. However, doctors do execute reasonable restriction in usage of such investigations during pregnancy and do not go for them unnecessarily.
Since the tests are needed for knowing the well-being of her pregnancy, if you do not have any alternative way of making shorter travel possible, please make sure that she travels with less disturbance and gets adequate rest. There should not be bumping or jerking movements.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to contact if you need any more suggestions. I will be glad to help.
