SHGB 35nmol/L; Range 10-50 Are These Results Worrisome?

Question: Hello, Male 54. Hormonal panel results:

SHGB 35nmol/L; range 10-50

Testosterone 350ng/dL; range 250-827

FSH 2.8mIU/ml; range 1.4-12.8

LH 1.2mIU/L range 1.5-9.3

Also Vitamin D 28.5ng/mL; range >29.9

Are these results worrisome? I’m worried whether a serious condition could be lowering the LH.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Hormone test results -within the range

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have gone through your hormone panel results.

I can say that you have no reason to worry about because these results are "within the range"
There is only a borderline-low Vit D level that is very common condition(it is a global issue) and can be resolved with a daily supplement of Vit D ,1000-2000UI/day for four-eight weeks

Low LH in males cause Low testosteron level and low libido. In your case , testosteron and SHBG level are in the range.I don't think there is any "Serious condition" for your borderline LH level.

I suggest to repeat LH test, total testosteron and free testosteron after 4 weeks if you have symptoms like:low libido, fatigue, loss of muscle mass and infertility.

Let me know the results.
I can guide you further.

Wish you all the best.
