I have facial flushing after eating certain foods for the last month. I have had on and off reflux for 2 years. Recent diagnosis reflux and gastritis. My GI doc is not available for 2 weeks. Getting a colonoscopy. Was concerned about highlevels of calprocten. Have to get SIBO test. What do you make of my gut test and the high results. I also attached last year’s result which had high SigA. Doc didn’t mention anything about this, even though it was 100 pts high. Also I tested for amoebiasis last year. I have ongoing cysts in my liver that we’re present before this diagnosis. I have attached cT results. Due to facial flushing, I gabs been tested for carcinoid syndrome. I test came back negative, one positive, and one 3 points high. HIAA normal. She wants to rule this out. She does want to reinvestigate benign adrenal tumors because of elevated cortisol and metanepherenes. Do you think I need second opinion on carcinoid?Also after lightheaded spells this week, finally went to bathroom after lactulose med and soap sud enema at ER. Had stool with black specks, which I had in past with other GI problems. I attached the stool to see if this a concern.
