Question: Severe abdominal pain, above the bowel area, constant vomiting, cant keep food down and what I do keep down, comes out the other end. I recently had a full blood workup, another colonoscopy and will see my Dr. Monday. Also, Last May (2018) when I was in ER, via a CT scan they found a 4.2cm mass on my Kidney. Urologist had an ultrasound ordered and they "think it is a cyst" come back in 6 months. I have also lost a toatal of 40 lbs in the last 3 months

Brief Answer:
Severe GERD and acid peptic disorder.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice
Most likely your symptoms are due to severe dyspepsia with Gastritis overlapped with acid reflux as a result of medications you are on.Every time the acid from stomach refluxes back into esophagus it injures esophageal mucosa. This injured mucosa undergoes severe spasmodic contractions due to inflammation causing sensations of abdominal spasm causing sensation of pain in abdomen with nausea and vomiting.

Tests suggested are-
Manometry-This test allows to determine if muscle disorders exist.
Endoscopy should be done.

Rx
Levosulpiride-It is a prokinetic drug and is very effective in controlling reflux.A better way is to take it with Rabeprazole trials have shown that its very effective when combined with Rabeprazole(need a prescription)
General precautions are-
Follow a bland diet (low acid levels, low in fat, not spicy).
Hope i was helpful.
Thanks!
