Just 10 minutes back through healthcare magic got a callback from the Doctor and since there was no pain in the neck so she suspected the problem could be due to ears and advised to consult an ENT specialist

Hii. Giddness can be due to many reasons. It's not a symptom with a wide range of causes. Can you ellaborate your giddines and tell whether it to appears on change of posture or whether it is associated with any black out, any seizure, any vomiting or nausea? If it is related with posture change then positional vertigo may be a cause. It is also known as benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. You should consult an ent surgeon and get your ear checked. Giddiness in ear may be due to positional vertigo, any infection in the ear, weakness of the balance system, meniers disease. So proper hearing test, examination of the balance systems is necessary to rule out all these diseases. If needed Electronystagmogram need to be done to rule out weakness of the labyrinth. You can take vertin for emergency. But you need to start vestibular rehabilitation exercise routine decrease the symptoms. Don't sleep on that side where the giddiness is appearing.
