Brief Answer:
Fumes produced local reaction

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Fumes have managed to produce a local reaction in airways and possibly the lungs. As a result there was release of some beneficial chemicals from body that caused other symptoms.

Since there in throat inflammation and difficulty in breathing, I will consider this as emergency as you may require assistance in breathing.
If time has elapsed and the breathing is maintained then we can wait for it to recover spontaneously. Some deep breathing (5-6 breaths every half hour) is to be done to avoid lung "constriction".

Yes drink lots of fluids to flush out the toxins.

Stay away from any air pollution especially fumes to avoid lung reactions in future.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Fears can be overcome with certain lifestyles

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

It is good that you are taking appropriate medical treatment and counselling for your obsessions and compulsions.

In my opinion, obsessions and compulsions arise from fears and meditation can help in controlling these as add-on therapy. Meditations are very helpful in cleaning the mind and you can try a short course on this.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
