Question: Hello, I consumed a bag of candy gummies, and shortly after consumption (less than 15 minutes) I started experiencing a severe sore throat, and at bedtime I tried laying on my side and experienced sharp pin like pains in my throat. That lasted about 12 hours if I laid-down (I had to sleep sitting upward). After about 2-3 days my throat felt better. As I speak, it feels like something is lodged in the bottom of my throat and constantly shifting. This has been going on about 24 hours. I've been through different concerning discomforts such as moments of short winded, not able to upchuck or clear throat, headaches, sharp streaks of pain to my left eye when drinking water or simply swallowing my slave. What I discovered about 36 hours ago is that the gummies I consumed had a recall due to small metal shavings discovered in the gummies during manufacturing. I believe I'm dealing with one or more pieces of metal lodged in my throat. I do have an appointment with

No stomach or chest discomfort.
I went to the ER Saturday----.
Nothing found in my airways.
Negative for streap throat.
Received a shot of antibiotic and a shot of antibiotic with steroid.
Also, prescription for 7 days of antibiotic, antibiotic with steroid, and ibuprofen.
Now having head discomfort.
ER physician noted: "Mild to moderate degenerative endplate and disk disease C3-C7. I'm not sure of what that means. Can I get an explanation in layman's terms. Thanks
