Should Eltroxin Dosage Be Increased For A Teenager?

Question: hello,
My daughter is 18 years old.Her height is 4.8ft.Her weight is 46.5.
She is taking Eltroxin 37.5 mcg now.
Her FREE T4 is 1.2 ng/dL and TSH is 1.9.
What should be her dosage now?

Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would suggest that your daughter should continue with 37.5 Eltroxin as both FT4 and TSH are in normal range.

Please get the test done again after about 2 months. If the values of TSH shows further decrease, Eltroxin then can be reduced to 25mcg.
