Should I Be Concerned About A Large Puffy Bruise On My Wrist?

Question: I had a small bruise occur on my wrist earlier this week.... for no apparent reason. I have been sitting at my desk grading and just looked down at the hand and at the base of my thumb, above the wrist a larger puffy bruise has just appeared. Should I be concerned?
