Should I Be Concerned About Dengue HF, Septicemia And UTI?

Question: Hi, my son recently got out of the hospital because of Dengue HF and Septicimia. He initially was in for 2 days for UTI and then when UTI was fine his platelet started to drop. They ordered peripheral smear on the 3rd day and I want to ask if I should be worried?
Brief Answer:
UTI
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The peripheral smar is a procedure in which a sample of blood is viewed under a microscope to count different circulating blood cells (red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, etc.)
According to the test results you should not be concerned
This is normal situation after the infections

Ok. I was just alarmed why the doctor ordered for a hematologist. And then the XXXXXXX started talking about the possible causes one of which is the scary one. So the result of the smear is just fine?
Brief Answer:
UTI
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In my opinion the results of tests are related to UTI,but also we should wait for the hematologist report of situation.
Please keep me informed.
