Should I Be Concerned After Being Diagnosed With PID And Advised To Get A DNA PCR Test?

Question: Hi, I had severe pain in lower abdomen on the right side at one point and it was going to my right leg, I have got ultrasound done and have been diagnosed PID however my doctor has also advised me DNA PCR from menstrual blood...I am really worried Iam recently married.what are the symptoms for ovarian TB?
Brief Answer:
Non specific symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Ovarian TB could be asymptomatic or it could have a variety of symptoms like abdominal pain, weight loss, sweats, back pain etc. If not treated timely, it could produce damage to the involved organs and result in infertility.
We cannot make diagnosis based on history or symptoms alone. It is not TB until it is proven in tests.
