Question: Should I be concerned with this X-ray result at 52 years old
PA and lateral views of the chest are obtained. The lungs are clear. There is no pneumothorax or pleural effusion. The cardiomediastinal silhouette is within normal limits. Aortic atherosclerotic calcification. Osseous structures are unremarkable

For this reason, I recommend performing a chest angio CT scan in order to examine better the aorta blood flow and possible atherosclerotic plaques.
