Question: I have recently got my cholesterol as 219 which is a borderline case. Should I be worried Is there any way to bring it down naturally

Hello,

From your description, it seems that your total cholesterol is higher than normal. Can you upload the lipid profile so that I am better able to help?

According to the current report and in absence of any medical problems like heart problem, diabetes, hypertension, etc, you donot need any medicine. You can control cholesterol levels with dietary modifications and active lifestyle including daily exercise. You can do some walk, gym, swimming, sports etc.
In diet you need to take less of fatty foods like cheese, icecream, sweets, chocolates, etc. Include more of fruits and veggies/ salad in your diet. Atleast 5 servings of fruits should be taken per day.
