Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. HPV is a related disease in females and males. Nongenital warts are spread from skin surface to skin surface and cutaneous HPV infections are widespread throughout the general population. So if you have a close personal contact it is assumed that you can be a transmission of HPV.

Genital warts from HPVtype 6 and 11 cause 90 percent you can have genital warts.

For HPV cancer type women have a higher incidence than men.So if your partner has HPV your chance of transmission also has. But if you are healthy and good immune you can fight against HPV.

I hope that It can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I hope you have good health.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you again for your question. For male there is a lower risk of cancer than females. If you are healthy and eat healthy food your body will possibly clear the virus. Your girlfriend if she has HPV positive the following test is VIA or colposcopy and treat with thermotherapy or cryotherapy. This process is kind of cervical cancer screening and treatment to prevent cancer.

Wish you and your girl friend have good health. Let me know if I can assist you further.
