Question: should I go for endoscopy and colonoscopy, for i am suffering from chronic constipation

1)Tiny tears in the skin around the anus (anal fissure)
2)A blockage in the intestines (bowel obstruction)
3)Colon cancer
4)Narrowing of the colon (bowel stricture)
5)Other abdominal cancer that presses on the colon
6)Rectal cancer
7)autonomic neuropathy
8)multiple sclerosis
9) Parkinson's disease
10)spinal cord injury
11)diabetes
12) hypothyroidism
Treatment is as follows :
1) treatment depends upon the underlying cause.
2)laxatives are prescribed first for few days.
3)syrup looz 20 ml daily at bed time is prescribed
4)If constipation persists, syrup cremaffin is prescribed.
5) If constipation persists, then further evaluation is done.
6) endoscopy is not needed but colonoscopy can be done in recalcitrant cases.
