Should I Go To The Hospital For Unusual Period Flow?

default
Posted on Wed, 27 Dec 2023
Question: I got my period at the beginning of November. I began to bleed again the last day of November. That only last for 3 days but it was very heavy, changing a pad every 30mins to a hour. Yesterday I passed this huge clot, about 5x bigger than a quarter and after that the bleeding just stop. Normally my cycles last for 5 days. Now I’m cramping with no bleeding. Should I go to the hospital?

Brief Answer:
No need to go to hospital

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read your query and here is my advice.
I don't think you need to go to hospital.
I think that cycle was normal. You are cramping but it may be related to bowel issues.
You don't need to consult a gynaecologist unless the bleeding starts.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
