Brief Answer:
Yes you can take it safely

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I can understand your concern

If the lung conditions of yours are quite which means that you do not have dififculty in breathing or chronic cough than you can take nitrofurantoin safely. Your bronchial asthma is in stable condition now. I reccommend you to take it. In my daily practical work i do not have had any side effects from nitrofurantoin and there is no absolute contraindication of it in asthmatic patients .

Hope to have been helpful
