Brief Answer:
Surgery is the last option
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Flomax is one of the medications that causes ED. If it does occur, options include choosing another medication to help with the prostate eg alfuzosin or silodosin.
Another option would be to use medication specifically for the ED eg: cialis or sildenafil.
Surgery does not necessarily occur because ED has occurred with the use of this type of medication.
In the majority of men, medication maybe switched or medication added to help with ED.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
