Should Antibiotics Be Given In Case Of Persistent Cough, running Nose Along With Yellow White Mucus After Getting Treated For Viral Fever In A 10-month Old Baby?

You can wait, observe for symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking on this platform.
I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
I don't consider the color of mucus as a marker of bacterial or viral infection. So antibiotic decision cannot be done based on this.
Other symptoms like persistent high-grade fever, cough, breathing difficulty are more suggestive of bacterial infection.
I won't get worried for yellow color mucus if the child is otherwise active, taking feeds well, there is no fever or breathing difficulty. Continue giving Mucolite which helps in thinning of mucus and Sinarest-AF as prescribed.
Yellow colored mucus can be due to dehydration. I would suggest you to give plenty of fluids, watch for abnormal symptoms and consult your pediatrician accordingly.
I hope this helps.
Take care
