Should I Take VDRL Test Before Starting Penicillin Therapy?

I have done the CT Scan for the entire abdomen and pelvis this morning and will share the results with you once I receive the report. Meanwhile, I am awaiting the prescription from your end so I can commence the Penicillin G regimen.
I would like to know if you recommend the VDRL Test before starting with Penicillin or after the course is over. Please advise so I can act accordingly.

VDRL test has to be taken twice-Prior to the commencement of the therapy as well as after finishing the penicillin therapy.This is for comparative purposes to assess the success of the treatment.The post therapy test has to be taken after 2 weeks from the date of completion of therapy.
Hence, you need to have your VDRL titers now.
Pertaining to the prescription I have sent you an email.Please go through it.
Update me with the test reports of the CT scan.
