Should I Trephine Subungual Hematoma?
Question: Hi, I would like to know whether or not I should trephine my subungual hematoma?
It has been about a day since my injury and it has not gotten better.

Post injury subungual hematoma is quite common. It takes a few days to subside.
If it is not increasing in size and pain is under control with pain medicines, there is no need for trephining.
It is better to wait for few days.
