Should I Wait For Teeth Implantation Inspite Of Having Prolia Infusion?
implant, bridge, removable prosthesis
Detailed Answer:
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the prolia infusion is for the osteoporosis. you can continue with the treatment. your oral maxillofacial surgeon is right you need to wait for at least of three months after placement of the implant. since you are medically compromised particularly osteoporosis and high blood pressure the prognosis or treatment success rate is low.
if i am your treating doctor, i would sugested you to wait for 3-4 months after placement of the implant and then go for crown if the implant is stable. take radiographs and confirm the bonding of the implant with the bone (osseointegration). if the implant is mobile or unstable then you cannot continue with the implant. either you have to go for removable prosthesis or fixed prosthesis like bridge depending upon the remaining teeth in the mouth.
i hope my answer will help you, take care.
