Brief Answer:
Small dose that should not cause serious issues.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The dose of 50 mg quetiapine is the daily dose started initially and may be increased gradually by the people who need it. So, even if this not your wife’s medication, one 50 mg dose should not cause any serious health issues.

It is probable for your wife to experience somnolence or sedation for one day or two but not any serious adverse effects. Even so, if you see something wrong, see your Doctor.

Hope you found the answer helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further.
