Hello,

My suggestions are as follows.

1.     You need Vitamin D supplements- A Calcerol XXXXXXX 60000, once a week should help you. Take this for 6 weeks. Then a repeat test will be needed to decide on further dose.

2.     You need to test HbA1C. As of now, your sugars are in what can be labeled as impaired glucose tolerance. Simple measures like weight reduction and control on diet will be helpful. Of course, a 6 monthly test of sugars and HbA1C henceforth is required.

3.     Your thyroid profile seems to be normal.

Let me know the report of HbA1C. Testing a Lipid Profile also may be useful.

Feel free to contact me for any related information.

Hello Doctor,

Thanks for your response.

So my sugar level as per the report is kind of entered into the Diabetic range or still I have a chance to come out of it completely with the help of proper diet and exercise. Kindly suggest me a food diet plan for controlling the blood sugar.

With Regards

Hi,

I think there may be a chance that with a good exercise regime and diet control you may not need medications soon.
I think a low carbohydrate; low fat diet should be suited to you.
That would be the best way to control your sugars.
As I said, an HbA1C report is still needed before we can declare you a diabetic.
And a lipid profile report would be better to test along with HbA1C.

I hope that helps.
