Hello,
Thanks for consulting Ask a doctor service.
This is Dr. Priyanka Tiwari answering your query.

I have read your query as far as a white lesion on side of tongue look like ringworm pattern is it seems like geographic tongue or depapillation of tongue secondary to vitamin deficiency.

There is nothing to be worried so much. Can you upload the picture of your tongue that will be helpful for me to give you a proper diagnosis and treatment plan.

In the meantime, have a balanced diet. Take green leafy vegetables in your diet and Take One Tablet Multivitamin like A to Z or Zevit daily for one month by consulting with a local doctor.

Hope this will help you.
Awaiting pictures to comments further.
Thanks and Regards

Brief Answer:
Seems like a Geographic tongue. Not to be worried

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome

I've reviewed the picture. As far as I have observed, it seems like a Geographic tongue. Nothing to be worried so much.

Geographic tongue is due to vitamin B12 deficiency, folic acid or iron deficiency, stress-induced, excessive consumption of tea, or hot beverages.

For this I will suggest you take a properly balanced diet, Avoid hot and spicy food, Avoid junk food, Take green vegetables and fruits. Take Iron supplements and multivitamin supplements like Tab A to Z or cap Zevit by consulting with your local doctor.

Hope this will help you.
If you have a further query I will be happy to help.

Stay home and stay healthy.

Thanks and Reagrds
