Sir, As Per Scanning My Wife Has 12 Mm Gallbladder

Question: Sir, As per Scanning my wife has 12 mm gallbladder stone and Dr, suggested to do the operation for the same. sometime she will get pain below the right chest. Kindly suggest operation is rite solution for this issue.

Silent gallstones usually do not need surgery.
But if gallstones cause symptoms, then gallbladder has to be removed surgically.
It can be done laparoscopically.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your suggestion, what are the symptoms for the gallstones development and as per Dr, if the stone developed more than 10mm gallbladder will not function and no use of gallbladder so removal is the best option.
Please suggest shall we go for an operation and if any good Dr near XXXXXXX Jalahalli cross please refer

Hi,
Gallstones most often remain without causing any symptoms.
The symptoms caused by gallstones include pain in the right upper abdomen, jaundice, fever etc.
Scan will also show whether it a silent stone or symptomatic stone.
