Brief Answer:
Regarding STDs

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.

I am a dermatologistt and venereal specialist. I can advice you regarding STDs. My advice to you is that if you have just serological evidence of Herpes but no signs of it then you don't need to treat it. A venereal specialist or a dermatologist can advice you regarding that. If you never tested for any STDs after promiscuous sexual contacts then you would be advised to undergo screening test for HIV, VDRL as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

Brief Answer:
Regarding herpes

Detailed Answer:
hi
Herpes is only treated if there are genital sores or oral sores of herpes. Do you have any oral or genital sores? No need to treat it otherwise, even if there is serological evidence of herpes. This is because serological tests for herpes just suggest that there was infection and stay positive forever. It doesn't mean we need to treat on evidence in blood unless there are visible sores. If rest of your STDs screening was negative then there is nothing to worry.
Take care.
