Question: Sir,
Previously, I had sought your advice regarding my migrain problem. As I have been having this problem for more than 10 years now, recently I underwent treatment for migrain under neurologist. But effect of medicines were very limited and and after about 2 months the problem was as usual, daily migrain ESPECIALLY AFTER JOGGING IN THE MORNING. Brief Answer:
Get a CT scan of the neck!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I have reviewed your information fully. Failure of migraines to regress significantly followed intensive care certainly brings to question the diagnosis and other possible causes of headache must be considered. I will like to see you get a CT scan of the neck to look at the bony structures and soft tissues fully. Muscle spasm in the neck can cause headaches and the description of your headaches seem to suggest this.

Results of neck CT scan would guide subsequent interventions. I will at least advocate on physical therapy of the neck to help relax the muscles and avoid provoking and aggravating headaches. Steroids would help is the cause is established as linked to arthritic changes.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me as you please.
