Brief Answer:
You are almost free from HIV infection.

Hi,
Welcome to ASK A DOCTOR through HCM.
Thanks for posting your query.
The window period for HIV is 4-8 weeks. You had your test by 8 weeks after the encounter. ELISA test is reliable to the extent of 97%. So with this negative result you can relax. It is very much unlikely for you to get infected with HIV.
As per W.H.O. norms two test reports with different methods can be considered as 100% reliable. Moreover in very rare instance there may be a delay in sero-conversion up to 12 weeks and not beyond this in a normal individual. So you can better repeat the test once again after 12 weeks from the day of the incident prefearbly with 4th generation HIV COMBO (DUO) test. It will also show only neagtive for HIV 1 and 2. You can be relieved further.
Stay safe.

Brief Answer:
The adjuvants eneumerated by you would not affect the HIV test reports.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Eneumerated by you are Siddha and Homeopathy medicines and not belongs to Ayurvedha to my knowledge goes. They are supposed to raise the immunity. If so it will never affect the outcome of the results. If it really works, then there could not be any possibility for delay in the winodow period and your previous test done on 8 weeks after the encounter becomes a conclusive one. You may not need any further tests. But I don't know the exact ingrediants and mechanisms of action as they are not belonging to Modern medicine system. Dr S.Murugan
