Thank you sir for your clarification. Sir incase of a re-exposure within 3 months do I need boosters? Does the vaccine provide lifetime immunity to me? Please clarify sir.
Brief Answer:
No booster dose is required.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
According to the WHO protocol, if a previously immunised person bitten again by rabid dog, no additional booster dose is required provided he completed the full course within three months.
If you are bitten after three months two additional doses are required.
Thanks
No booster dose is required.
