Should I be worried about CMML or some other neoplasm?
Should I be worried about CMML or some other neoplasm?
Brief Answer:
Blood exams
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking
Diagnosing chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) or other neoplasms usually involves a series of repeated tests, including blood and bone marrow tests. Your doctor usually can't confirm a diagnosis of CMML with one lab test result that shows abnormal blood counts
In my opinion you should not worry with this blood tests for malignancy.
Have you other health issues ore are you under treatment with medication please?
Feel free for asking further

Hello Dr. Sera,
Thank you or your kind response. So, you really see nothing worrying?
As to your question: I sent along another document that lists my conditions, hypertension, pre-diabetes. It should be available now.
I really worry because I just can't find any good (fixable) reasons for the high A/G ratio and low Immunoglobulins. (I was taking quite a bit of NSAIDS for arthritis and muscle pain at the time, but have stopped). And, other than the high Monocytes differential, and RDW-SD, things seem quite good.
As an elevated D-Dimer can also indicate the presence of malignancies, (I was checked very thoroughly for blood clots at the time it hit 2000), but it has fallen since then. I take a baby aspirin daily.
In April of 2018, I had my leg varicose veins stripped. Again, I would have thought that the blood values would have normalized by then.
That's all, I guess. I'll have another full workup in May, but i haven't slept well since I consulted "Dr. Google" about monocytosis and elevated AG/R. Although I am 65, MANY people depend upon me and my income for their lives, and I worry alot about letting them down.
Sincerely,
XXXXXXX "Goblush"

I should have mentioned: I also had a complete Gastro-and Colonoscopy exam, PSA, Chest Xrays, etc, to rule out any obvious cancer. My mom had BC and ad died from PC, you see, so I won the genetic lottery.

Blood counts
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
As you said you suffer from autoimmune disease like arthritis witch is one of the reason of those test results, high A/G ratio an low Immunoglobulin levels.
I think that you have not to worry about neoplasms,i will suggest you to repeat the tests after 4-6 weeks
