Small Hard Bump On Back Of Throat Under Uvula .

Question: Small hard bump on back of throat under uvula. Not painful. On and off sore throat. Is it throat cancer?
Brief Answer:
It is not throat cancer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the photographs.
Thorat cancer is not seen at this age and is a disease of older people.
It can be an inflammatory swelling secondary to sore throat or a mucus cyst.
As of now you can do warm saline gargles two or three times a day. Avoid cold beverages.
You can wait for couple of weeks for spontaneous recovery.
Thanks
