So I’m A Little Confused As To What’s Going On
Question: So I’m a little confused as to what’s going on with my body. I took femara this cycle but never got a positive opk. I had spotting cd 17-19 and cd 27-28. My dr gave me provera to take starting day 28 since I hadn’t ovulated & had a progesterone done that was 0.1. I took one provera on day 28 then woke up on day 29 and I had a positive opk. I didnt take anymore provera since I got the positive & assumed I was ovulating. Woke up on cd 32 with cramps, back pain, and spotting again...same today with cd 33. The cramps and back pain feel exactly like it usually does when I’m getting my period but there is only enough blood to wear a liner. Idk what to do now. I’m just confused by all the spotting. Should I just take provera now anyway and get my cycle restarted? Or do I try to wait it out and see if this turns into a full flow. Due to start femara cd3
Brief Answer:
Better to have provera and get a proper bleeding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The spotting that you are having is likely to be due to hormonal disturbance and lack of ovulation. It is best to restart with provera and get your cycle restarted. You can then start with Femara accordingly. Unless you have a proper period this spotting may persist for next 7-10 days and may cause another anovulatory cycle.
I hope this answers your query.

Since asking this questions, the bleeding has gotten heavier with small clots. Not as heavy as my normal flow tho. I’m also having some left flank pain.
Will the provera stop the bleeding that I have now and then just cause me to bleed again when I’m done with the course of provera?
Brief Answer:
Let the bleeding continue. Avoid provera.
