Sore Throat Right Side Was XXXXXXX All Weekend In The

Question: Sore throat right side
Was XXXXXXX all weekend in the water, so exposed to varying temps
Fever around 100.7 last night. No current fever
Looked at tonsils and the right tonsil has gray “plaque” on it.
Drinking green tea, apple cider vinegar, chicken soup, only medicine has been motrin twice.
I feel ok other then sore throat. Without insurance I’d love to cure this at home.
Thank you
I have photos but could not add them here.

Brief Answer:
Seems like tonsillitis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I see the photo you attached and it seems like the right tonsil is infected due to white plaques on it.
I need to mention also that the photo doesn't have good quality and it would be advisable to take a clearer picture.
The fact that you were using Motrin twice daily may have prevented you from having fever.
The right tonsil seems infected so you may need to take antibiotics. It can't be cured by motrin, soup and tea only. You may need an antibiotic prescription and augmentin is favourite one.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
The photos you uploaded were not of a good quality so you may need to upload a new one.
White plaques are seen in the right tonsils and this can be tonsillitis or infection and inflammation of the tonsils.
It can't go away on its own or by just taking tea and soup.
You may need prescription antibiotics.
You have been using Motrin that's why you have not had any fever today.
