Question: Sprained ankle night before last.icing and elevating as much as possible.CAN put full weight on it.moving painful.bruising started today.can i treat at home?

Thanks for the query

If your are able to bear weight and walk, there is less chance of an Ankle fracture.

You can wear a walking boot or crepe bandage to walk around in.

If your ankle hurts on bearing weight oryou feel you can't bear weight then it's best to get an xray to confirm if any fracture exists.

Please keep your limb elevated on 2 pillows on lying down. That's most important.
