Brief Answer:
Could be possibly orofacial dystonia
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Your symptoms are suggestive of a movement disorder, most likely org facial lingual dystonia or dyskinesia. In this condition, involuntary movements affect speech muscles, tongue, lips and cheek muscles. These are present when awake and disappear during sleep. They interfere with speaking, swallowing and chewing functions.
Treatment can be done with medications such as trihexiphenydyl or tetrabenazine tablets or Botox injections. Please consult a neurologist specialising in movement disorders.
