Suffering From Cold. Started Feeling Weak And Chest Heaviness. Is This Due To Cold Or Anxiety?

from last 3 days suffering from Cold. Recently feeling weakness in
left hand fingers. Is that because of anxiety or something else cause of cold... Please suggest
Recently I have been admitted to hospital, because of suffocation occurred while googling & heavily caughing intentionally to remove dirt from Throat. Doctor just told that it may be cause of Gastritis. Taken ECG & its clean.
Thanks for the query.
Feeling heavy in chest can be because of many reasons like cold, anxiety, bronchial asthma, gastritis etc. But since ECG has come out normal, it excludes a heart problem.
Since there is no associated tiredness and shortness of breath, it rules out bronchial asthma, which can otherwise also be diagnosed by simple physical examination by your doctor. Since you are not complaining of any bloating, nausea, indigestion, burning in stomach, loss of appetite, vomiting, belching, the chances of gastritis looks slim. It clearly suggests that cold along with anxiety is causing this heaviness in chest.
Do steam inhalation and anti allergic medications like FENOXIFENADINE for few days. You can get a prescription for this from your treating doctor. In case you are having headache, you may take paracetamol for it.
Just relax and you shall be all right soon.
I hope it helps. However, you may revert for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Thank u for the immediate reply,
I just want to be clear some of my doubts
1. when i was admitted to hospital recently, i had no cold. It just developed later
2. I am still feeling heaviness in chest, however it doesnt last long
3. I am feeling slight pain when touched near centre of chest, but to be clear not in the heart side
4. feeling uneasy in ringfinger of lefthand and only centre finger of left leg. But iam able to fold fingers and hold things as usual. Is that related to chhest heavyness or whether its just my feeling to link with it. please advice.
Feeling of heaviness and pain in chest seems to after effect of severe bouts of coughing, you had.Repeated coughing tires and cramps your chest muscles. There is nothing to worry as it shall go away gradually.
As far as uneasiness in fingers of left hand is concerned,it simply can be ignored and seems to be there because of anxiety.
Thanks.
